RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation
That Council provide comments, if any, pertaining to the taxi application for V.I.P. Taxi Service or taxi services in general, as set out in Staff Report ADM-20-026, and direct staff to forward the comments to the Passenger Transportation Board for consideration of the application.

BACKGROUND:
Attached is a Municipal Notice of a Taxi Application from the Passenger Transportation Board. The Board is requesting comments within 30 days of receipt of the Notice (by October 30th, 2020), in order to be able to consider the Township's comments prior to making a decision on the application from Dumitru Constantinescu, carrying on business as V.I.P. Taxi.

The applicant is requesting approval to provide a new taxi service with a fleet size requested of one conventional taxi servicing the Capital Regional District area. Details of the application are set out in attached Notice [Attachment No. 1].
