SUBJECT: Adoption of Development Application Procedures and Fees Bylaw, 2012, No. 2791, Amendment Bylaw, 2026, No. 3187
INFORMATION:
At the Regular meeting of Council held April 13, 2026, Council approved the following resolution:
“That Council give first, second, and third readings to Development Application Procedures and Fees Bylaw, 2012, No. 2791, Amendment Bylaw, 2026, No. 3187.”
The purpose of the amendments is to raise fees to better align with neighbouring peer municipalities while still maintaining lower overall fees than the average in Greater Victoria, and to simplify the fee structure by eliminating fees no longer required and removing duplicate fees.
Council is requested to give final reading and adopt Development Application Procedures and Fees Bylaw, 2012, No. 2791, Amendment Bylaw, 2026, No. 3187.
