SUBJECT: Adoption of Tax Prepayment Plan Bylaw, 2026, No. 3186
INFORMATION:
At the Special meeting of Council on July 13, 2026, Council approved the following resolution:
“That Council give first, second and third readings to Tax Prepayment Plan Bylaw, 2026, No. 3186.”
The purpose of this Bylaw is to establish and regulate the Township’s Pre-Authorized Withdrawal System (PAWS) for property tax payments including the administration of monthly instalment payments and the treatment of credit and debit balances by authorizing the collection or refund of resulting balances through an automatic bank withdrawal on the due date.
Council is requested to give final reading and adopt Tax Prepayment Plan Bylaw, 2026, No. 3186.
