SUBJECT: Council Remuneration Bylaw
INFORMATION:
At a meeting held July 13, 2026, Council directed staff to update the Council Remuneration Bylaw as recommended in Staff Report No. ADM-26-032. The remuneration information and recommendation resulted from the recently completed review of Mayor and Council’s remuneration conducted by an independent consultant which is required to be undertaken every four years by Council policy.
Staff have prepared Council Remuneration Bylaw, 2026, No. 3193 (Attachment 1) which is now before Council for consideration of first three readings. Should Bylaw No. 3193 receive three readings, it will come back to Council at the meeting scheduled to be held September 21, 2026, for adoption.

Recommendation
That Council give first, second, and third readings to Council Remuneration Bylaw, 2026, No. 3193
