SUBJECT:                      533 Admirals Road - Development Permit 

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

Recommendation

That Council approve the corrected Development Permit (Appendix “A”) which was previously approved with a typo.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

 

On July 8, 2024, Council approved a Development Permit to accommodate a 179.35m² addition to the existing commercial liquor store (see staff report DEV-24-039). The Development Permit incorrectly stated that the parcel was located in Development Permit Area 3 - Enhanced Design Control Residential, when in fact it is located in Development Permit Area 6 - Multi-Family Residential.

 

 

BACKGROUND:

 

No additional consideration.

 

Chronology:

                     DP000230 first approved by Council on July 8, 2024.

                     DP000230 corrected and brought back to Council on September 9, 2024. 

 

 

ANALYSIS:

 

The landscape deposit has been received by the applicant, which is required to register the notice on the title of the property. No additional analysis.   

 

OPTIONS:

 

1. That Council approve Development Permit No. DP000230 and direct staff to register the notice on title. 

2. That Council deny Development Permit No. DP000230.
