STRATEGIC RELEVANCE:
Operational Strategy - Review Township policies and bylaws to ensure efficient processes; amend and update as necessary
BACKGROUND:
Due to the recent adoption of the Streets and Traffic Regulation Bylaw, 2017, No. 2898 and the Building Regulation Bylaw, 2017, No. 2899, the infraction sections of these bylaws have changed necessitating a change in the schedules of the Bylaw Notice Enforcement Bylaw, 2014, No. 2839, so that they align with the new bylaws.
ISSUES:
1. Rationale for Selected Option
In order to enable Bylaw Enforcement to continue to write Bylaw Offence Notices for the offences created by the Streets and Traffic Regulation Bylaw and the Building Regulation Bylaw, the schedules of the Bylaw Notice Enforcement Bylaw must be in alignment with these sections of the root bylaws.
