BACKGROUND:
The Local Grant Committee, comprised of Councillors Cavens, Helliwell and Morrison, held a meeting on January 20, 2025, to prepare its recommendations to Council. Due to the number of previously approved grant requests, there were 10 applications to be reviewed. Following their review of the applications, the Committee made a recommendation about whether to provide funding to these organizations based on the total available funding of $160,000 included in the draft 2025-2029 Financial Plan.
